  • 1 x red capsicum
  • Small bunch of red grapes
  • 1 x serving of red cabbage
  • 1 x tin whole or chopped tomatoes
  • handful red sultanas
  • 1 red apple
  • Quarter of one small raw beetroot
  • Coconut water for desired thickness and taste

If you are trying to loose weight without sacrificing nutrition, red capsicum can be beneficial, with each medium pepper providing 1.18 grams of protein, 2.5 grams of fiber and 5 grams of natural sugar yet only 37 calories. They can contribute flavor to a variety of foods without adding an abundance of calories, fat or cholesterol.

Grapes are regarded in many cultures as ‘the queen of fruits’. These tiny berries are the storehouse of polyphenolic phytochemical compound ‘resveratrol’, which is one of the powerful anti-oxidants found to play a protective role against cancers of colon and prostate, coronary heart disease.

Continued research also found that resveratrol works on the body in two ways to significantly assist with weight loss efforts.
